Jade Prison

A massive artifact designed by the Sidereal Exalted that held the exaltations, in the forms of divine sparks, of the Solar Exalted. Beause none of the exaltations of the Celestial Exalted are hereditary, this effectively stopped the reincarnation of the large majority of the Solar Exalted.
The vast majority of Solar sparks (approximately 300) were captured in the Jade Prison after the Usurpation, but some remainder that still lived at the time of the sealing (around 50) were still left out and continued their cycle of reincarnation. For this reason the Sidereals formed the Wyld Hunt.
In circa 763 RY, the Jade Prison was broken open.
