Personal history
Underhill began his career after exploring in a cave near his homeland, finding it had been an abandoned campsite. In it was a amulet of sustenance, which, while wearing it, removed his need for food, water, or sleep, allowing him to travel independently. He made his career off his findings, which he reported to several sponsors throughout his life, including monarchs, museums, noble houses, wizards, military officials, and guildmasters. He kept very detailed logs wherever he went, and was adept at drawing very technical images. He is estimated to have cataloged over 10,000 plants, animals, relics, and ruins, as well as local rural folktales, songs, customs, and is even said to have discovered 57 islands.
