Jalitair

Angel of Liberation

Jalitair is the Angel of Liberation and Rebellion against oppression. He is a warrior deity, and a freedom fighter. He is the focal point of legends of heroes fighting against the tyrants of Craedock, and is said to have inspired many slave revolts against their captors. He is a servant of Manari, and aids him is his efforts to tend to and care for the inhabitants of the mortal realm. Many paladins follow Jalitair in their quests to rid the world of evil, and fighters and generals seek his guidance in wartime. Jalitair is a pacifist in most affairs, but when called to free a trapped soul or to fight a tyrant it is said his fighting skill is comparable to that of the Angel of War himself.
It is often said that slaves across Craedock look to the sea for hope of escape or inspiration. Jalitair is said to reside on the horizon, searching for imprisoned souls to whom he will send his warrior followers to assist. Poetry of Jalitair often portrays him leading the people to the ocean aboard holy ships to flee their captors, and he is said to have a limited domain over water to aid in this endeavor as well.
