Cos' Tower of Truth

Truth - in the beginning, there was only Truth. Measureless, unable to be represented. Truth then began to think, create, expanding itself into other truths and ideas, love, pain, friendship, suffering, existence, hope, and many more. Eventually, Truth became conflicted within itself. Three ideas had spread throughout the abyss it had created.
Primordial Beings - The first beings created by Truth
- Olaon - First the idea of senses became real, touch, sight, taste, smell, and hearing. Solid, concrete unchanging, stasis. Waves of light began to slow down and form into objects all combined are known as the physical being of Olaon.

Aeros - In the realms where light never stopped, it became something else. Flowing changing and morphing into something entirely different. The ideas Truth had created began to form properties and essence of their own. Magic was born surrounding the physical worlds and giving life to creation forming Aeros.

Entroprius - In the far corners of Truth's expansion nothing existed. A void, a lack of physical or magical objects. Entroprius was born of this lack of anything. It was nothing and will always be nothing. Every space in existence was filled with Entropius, but something lurked in the depths of the void.

The Old Ones - Great intelligent beings, creating their own nightmare worlds in the void of the edges of Truth. Extremely hard to contact, but are the oldest and wisest beings that Cos can interact with.
Behemoths - Created by Aeros and Olaon they wanted more than just ideas projected into physical forms. They created what some now call monsters. Unimaginable beasts with intelligence higher than any mortal can understand. They mostly kept to themselves in the universe as servants killed their masters again and again. When the Current Gods made Cos, they began to grow interested. They left their own planes to join Cos and make their own creations.
Celestials -

When Aeros and Olaon worked together, their stasis and change, they created beings from their own ideas combined. Time was created, Light was given a true form, Darkness infiltrated from Entroprius, and many others emerged.

After time began to fall into place, the Celestials created their own land, spherical and smooth. They made their own creations, creating them from the image of their creators they named them gods. These gods co-existed with the Celestials but soon grew tired of their masters.

The First Gods -

The First Gods saw what the Celestials did wrong, they knew they were more powerful and larger in numbers. They overthrew their masters and created their own universe seeking Truth, and separating themselves from their creations. The First Gods created a tower as their universe. They reached closer to Truth, building a metaphysical universe of a tower aimed towards Truth. Each floor, every level was ruled by one or a few of the First Gods. They used their pawns to battle each other for power. Each First God wanted to be closer to Truth or be with Truth itself. Their pawns began to grow smarter, they connected with Aeros and began using magic for themselves. The First Gods allowed this as their pawns were adapting on their own to fight each other grew more powerful than they imagined. The ignorance of their own creations was their downfall.

The Gods -

The Current Gods became so advanced in their world built by the First Gods they actually reached them. Cos' Gods were not much different from their creations on Cos, except their intelligence grew exponentially, something the First Gods did not see coming. When the time came many people became God Hunters. As a sport to see who could become the most powerful they went off and killed their Gods. Stealing their powers and essence, they began to fight each other as their Gods did before them. Those who killed the highest Gods ironically were banished to the lower planes becoming Fiends when the fighting began. Those who had only partially played the "sport" become the creators of Cos, using it as a battleground against the Fiends. Those who did nothing left existence or become the Angels, warriors messengers, and servants of the Gods. The new Gods made the Men, Elves, Dwarves, and many other minor races. They believed they were closer to Truth than the Gods before them and their creations would help them ascend the Tower.

One did neither, creating nor banishing. Axon understood what was happening. He had slain the most Gods while at the same time began to see what they had not. In the gaps of their knowledge, he began to fill it in. He gave his powers to his closest friend Lothren, but not his knowledge. He is the only being known to ascend the Tower and reach Truth. He realized Truth and at that moment was Truth itself.

The Tower (Existence) - To join Truth one most see all of the universe and the infinity beyond it. The tower represents all Truth has become and all it will be. The First Gods believed mimicking the architecture they would be closer to Truth. The Current Gods believe their current plane with variety of souls and races mimicking Truth's own creations will bring them closer to it. The tower is seen everywhere because in reality it is everything. The Tower (Soul) - While the tower is everywhere it is also a part of every being. Some have climbed their own towers more then others. Many mortals on Cos have climbed higher in their towers becoming Gods themselves. The tower is everyone's connection to each other and to Truth. To reach Truth one most understand the tower within them and reach the summit. Once the summit is reached they realize Truth and simultaneously become Truth. One being in existence has been known to accomplish this.
