Forest of Love - A Chapter on Draigi Romance

I want to woo the person of my dreams. In your world, how do I go about this?   In Draigi culture, it's a custom for when one has a crush on another, to carve staves, made of Gebo, Fehu and Eiwaz to signify a strong and reliable partner. Tradition since their tribal era, it's evolved into a rare form of courtship, or flirting that's often used by, and encouraged to, younger lovers as a means to teach them what it means to be in love, and how to differentiate between passion and kinship.   The name implies it's primarily used in plain, forest or jungle environments, though homes found in the volcanic grounds in the Northern region of the Shattered Isles often incorporate this tradition into stones and rocks instead, often leading to hotsprings or infernal magma pits.   Often this tradition leads many to follow the trails made by those who've come before them, as the nature of the ritual is that the carvings take generation to fafe unless the bark is torn off. The belief behind this circumstance is that the original lovers will bless those who follow down their path, ensuring the relationship flourishing will prosper and luck will accompany them while together.   Many lovers have traveled the path to find someone they may have never met before; even still, it's believed due to a magical fey that lives at the destination lulls them into romance- while true, it is rare, and most cases involve no effort from external influence.
Staves, in Norse culture, are used by shamans and others who study the runic meanings, to communicate and leave wisdom or warnings to others on their way through important environments or towns.   Comprised of runes, their ultimate meaning is entirely up to the decipheree, determined by the runes and their positioned as inscribed upon the stave.
