Corville is currently experiencing a water shortage. Due to the urbanization, corpratization, and overpopulation, clean water is a precious commodity tightly controlled by the government. The new Chancellor, young and eager to prove himself, has promised to improve the quality of life in the city, but he is an unwitting puppet of the HYDE group, a shadowy cabal who control the city. Meanwhile, the Kitsune Korporation prepares to release an overhaul to PHOBOS, the city’s digital superintendent, whose appealing new features distract from its dangerous potential.
