Let me explain about Corth. ...no, there is too much. Let me sum up.
Corth is a fantasy world intended as a D&D setting. With three continents and thousands of years of history to play in, the world is large enough to accommodate a multitude of adventures without any two ever running into each other. And that's without even getting into the other planes!   Corth itself is magical enough, with dragons roaming the skies and wizards or their spells seemingly on every street corner, but almost all the other planes of existence to which it is connected are far more steeped in magic. The most closely linked are the twin planes of Shadow and Faerie, dark and light mirrors of Corth which tend towards entropy and whimsical chaos respectively.   Most content for Corth is focused on the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Ages of the world. The First Age is lost in myth, the Second Age is the age of the elven empire, and the Third Age is the age of the Kadarin Empire. The Fourth Age is the Dark Ages between the fall of the empire and the rise of a new era of civilisation, the Fifth Age is the Age of Chivalry, and the Sixth Age—beginning with the return of the Lost City of Kadar—is the Age of Discovery, in which scientific, technological and magical advances begin to match and outstrip the knowledge of the Third Age.
