Underground Arena

Beneath a park in the Lower City is a massive gladiatorial arena, with tunnels along the south side connecting it to the basements of the houses overlooking the park. The main entrance, at the western end, is a tunnel which comes to the surface across a street from the Temple of Timos. There is a secondary entrance at the eastern end, which comes out next to a different street.
The tunnel entrance leading to the taphos tree house is missing a stone from the top of the arch. Otherwise, all of the smaller tunnels are identical.
Part of the tiered seating in the northeastern quadrant has collapsed, leaving a pile of rubble which leads down into an underground lake. The lake contains a giant crocodile, who will attack if disturbed.
