The Stern Family

The Stern lineage carries earth magic deep within it. The oldest Earth-aligned family has lived generations in Whitstone Keep, residing over the barony surrounding it. Archibald Stern is the current head of the family with his eldest son Sterling Stern as his official heir. However, due to internal politics and supersitions, Sterling has attempted to abdicate in favor of his sister, Carmin Stern, but their father resents his son's choice and has chosen not to honor it.

The Morningstar Caverns

The legacy of the Stern family is the exploration and mapping of the extensive Morningstar Caverns. Stern children learn valuable caving and survival skills within the cave system as part of their education, memorizing important parts of the system and carrying with them a map of the major thoroughfares. While this generations-long project is known to the crown, it is blind to how vast this undertaking really is.

The Whitstone Barony

The Whitstone Barony is the northernmost barony in Givallium and serves as the first line of defence against the Iron Pine Kingdom, as well as the first point of contact. Unfortunately for those who live in the barony, there have been more raids than not.
