Emberstall


Ember, as it is commonly referred as, is an unfortunately common drug across The Districts United. First introduced in the following days after the Dawn Crossing event, Emberstall made its rounds in the streets of cities heavily effected by the Dawn Crossing before quickly spreading.
 

Effects

    Ingested orally, this drug takes roughly one minute to take full effect. emberstall heavily alters the user's senses to the point of hallucinations and slowed movement. Upon either placing emberstall on the tongue or swallowing it, a sharp burning pain can be felt for about an hour. Addicts of emberstall claim to be highly addicted to both the brief state of euphoria it brings, along with the nostalgic feeling one gets when around an open flame.   Movement while under the influence of this drug is already difficult, but if one is under any sort of distress it becomes staggeringly painful. Users attempting to perform any potentially stressful actions may find themselves with a scorching migraine.  
Casting Magic
  Testimonies claim that even the idea of casting magic makes their head hot and hyper focused. Even claiming the drug has boosted the potency of their spells, especially fire based ones. However this always came at the cost of immense pain when attempting movement. (1d4 psychic + 1 fire damage)   While under the effects of emberstall your spell save DC is increased by 1 per sheet ingested. If a spell deals damage, roll an additional damage die per sheet ingested. If a spell deals damage using multiple dice, use the die with the highest value.    
Physical Effects
    A user's walking is slowed by half as the drug wrecks havoc on ones senses.     The user has disadvantage on checks against being frightened.     A user's strength, constitution, and dex stats are all reduced by 1d6 once the drug has taken effect.

Manufacturing process

Introduce a live flame to your choice of magical cooling agent in order to start the freezing process. When the flame becomes physically malleable slowly lay it down onto a clean metal surface, smoothing out any wrinkles.    Before the flame has time to fully cool drop your choice of purified spider venom anywhere on the sheet of flame then very slowly fold it in half, tearing the sheet at this point will ruin the emberstall. Begin to flatten the sheet back down to a single thin layer. Once fully cooled, cut the sheet of emberstall into 2x3 inch strips.    On average, a single sheet of emberstall will produce 12 strips.
