Khione's house

The building which Khione uses after the attack on Icedale where she loses her memory. It sits in the open lifeless area of the tundra two hours east of Icedale, out of the way from any human or beast activity. The tower used to reach up into the clouds and form a path between things in the sky and things on land. But with the top collapsed, that can no longer safely occur. The destruction of the tower was performed by some Fairies who knew what the tunnel allowed the Winter Winds to do. The Winds were using the path to collect things from the surface and steal them up to where one could never get them back. The destruction of the path made this sort of event a multi-day flight roundtrip, thus decreasing the thefts to near zero. The Winds despise that the path has been broken. After hundreds of thousands of years of being used by the Winds in the Magic Era, the building has magical properties of its own. The tower can broadcast the past memories and current events of any who have been inside to anyone currently in or touching the tower. This occurs within each person's head and only happens to humans. This is how Khione remembers enough fragments from Galanthus's memory to contact Sir Percival but as his shortname.

Design

circular, with a floor area of 100 sqft and a height of 6,000 ft in total. Though the ceiling is at 7 ft.

One door at floor level. a staircase leading through the ceiling and up the rest of the tower.

Denizens

The Winter Winds use it daily as a tunnel to get from the sky to the ground. Khione uses it as her house for several months.

Alterations

The holes in the walls and ceiling on the lowest level were patched, the doors excavated, and the structure renovated into somewhere one could live.

Architecture

In the ancient era style it has weird lines, a circular floor plan, and impossible architecture. After it collapsed some of that was lost. It is built of stone. Like its a circular tower but the stairs leading up it are in a rectangular formation. also those stairs are not secured to the walls, only to eachother. The stairs levitate.
