Fire Dragon scales

When a fire dragon is defeated its scales can be harvested and mixed with metal to form an alloy with the properties of dragon scales and the workability of metal. One adult fire dragon has enough scales to make 20 tons of alloy. The alloy is a 1:2 ratio scales to metal.

The fire dragons special abilities are somewhat carried over into the scales. These are: Incredible resistance to heat or flame, insane durability, feeling very hot to the touch, and being moderately light for their size.

must be added to molten metal and then when the metal cools you have fire dragon alloy.
