Briargate
Taelondrom's hometown, even though Tae is much older than the town and the town is named after his brambles which frame the coastal hamlet on three sides. The village is small, consisting of about 430 permanent residents. Most people in Briargate are fishermen, selling their catches as salted rations for big merchant ships. The village functions as a way station in sea trade, but the docks only number 2 merchant ships at a time.
Demographics
Mostly humans, the only Beasthropy is inherited from travellers moving in, one fairy.
Defences
20 foot high thick brambles on all surrounding land with only one gate. The gate has a heavy set of doors.
Industry & Trade
Fishing, shellfish catching, and preserving meat.
