Precognition
The ability to see even a few moments in the future is a talent many have sort in our long history. When it was proven that a few could, it saw fear and delight take hold. Yet we were never really prepared for what exactly it would mean, to prove some could see the future. Foresight is double edge sword.
Effect
Precognition happens in three ways: 1 in dreams, 2 in flashes of foreknowledge, 3 in waking dream witnessing.
The person can predict major disasters, be it storms or the like, man made by way of accidents that cost lives, they might see a killer kill their victim or victims.
Side/Secondary Effects
Seeing or giving prediction took a toll on the person with the ability. The toll often more mental as they stood witness at often devastating events, at the death of innocent, or even the carnage of a terrible storm, this told was by some considered minor, as it didn't impact on the prediction.
An more moderate view was to assist the person in dealing with the various incidents they witnessed, so as to keep them sane and minds healthy.
Manifestation
On finding one or ten, saw a hunt and investigation of all and this was followed by a study on when and how the ability appeared or developed. It was found that those with the ability often awakened in their early twenties, once the body has stabilised and they were at their healthiest.
Source
A person with this ability, it was found that it took energy to power it, if they had a poor diet then they could not support or able to give clear predictions, or they were suggestive. This meant that they had to be have good food, healthy life style to make sure they could keep up their predictions.
Discovery
This ability was found when volantaries agreed to prove or disporve they had the ability of precognition, the ability to foretell the furture. None expected to be able to prove it. Yet they did, in the study run by Proffessor Garth Blackwell, and his team of nine, and volantaries of a hundreds. They used the experimental version of Mem-Network, or Neural Network as it was called them.
