Colcath

Colcath, the largely aquatic planet far away in an unknown galaxy, long since colonised and forgotten; is on the brink of collapse. Originally one of dozens of distant expeditions sent out in a last hope effort to colonise the dwindling number of distant planets that could be habitable enough to sustain a new life for humanity. Ironically, Colcath, on the low end of most habitable planets has (to everyones knowledge) survived the longest out of the many expeditions; however, this is only due to the mass number of tradesman and engineers brought on the expedition due to its level of low likelyhood of success. This resulted in an ingeniously crafty society, building structures and machinations pushing the planet leagues further in technological advancement than otherwise possible. The drawback to this however, the creations are of such low quality due to the dwindling and low quality of supplies that almost everything requires regular repair and rebuilding, if managing to work at all.
