Codai Majorus Housing

Codai Majorus station is home to billions of human beings, and as such it requires an extensive suite of housing areas. These housing areas are located towards the "south" point of the station, taking up a colossal volume of space. Each level features a different style of housing, drawing from the various backgrounds of the Sector. Level 1703, for example, features housing reminiscent of the Asani Capital City. Per-level, housing is then sub-divided into size of home.
Those looking for Luxury homes stay within a seperate ring entirely, starting at level 1801 and continuing down until 1832.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of these buildings is to host the massive population of the station. Alterations to the basic construction ideal are there solely to suit the occupants' needs, for example a sole occupant versus a family of 8.

Alterations

Each Set of buildings have been kept up-to-date with the cultures that they represent, and are regularly remodeled. The only exception to this is level 1709, based off of the forgotten Psychic group. As they were not present past the construction, and nobody has been able to find them since, this level has remained the only level based on their people - and has not been updated. Many consider this level to be the city's slums.

Architecture

The design of these buildings, even externally, are varied based on level. That said, one thing that is consistent is that each house is build from floor-to-ceiling (relative to the level). This means that an un-decorated, un-modeled home is, in effect, a simple cube.

History

Initially, these levels were intended to be resource storage. The initial design comes from a Paladian Slowship's interior compartments, which served to home additional engineers brought up from the surface of Lorel. After these were integrated into the vessel proper, they were used as apartments, until later in construction their versatility resulted in uniformity across the lower decks.
