Known colloquially as dark elves, the Drow are hardy dark skinned elves obsessed with honor who wear resin armor and the chitin of giant bugs. Whereas the Highborn Elves are philosophers who happen to be good warriors, the Drow are warriors who happened to get philosophic about killing.
