Nicholas Graffton is a notoriously eccentric nobleman and "explorer" based in Pelens. He owns both a townhouse as well as a country estate just outside the city proper, and keeps a modestly sized personal menagerie at the latter. A collector above all else, he makes it his business to buy, capture, or kill and mount upon his wall any rare and unusual creatures he can get his hands on. He keeps a variety of his conquests in a vast garden/miniature zoo complex adjacent to his country home. Mr. Graffton has recently brought home a new prize- a baby basilisk. For obvious reasons, a basilisk would be an excellent addition to the Guild's toolset and we would like to take the creature off Mr. Graffton's hands. Obtaining this beast will obviously be a dangerous and potentially deadly task, but if the Guild is able to obtain it, the rewards far outweigh the risks.
