The city of Auran is the most magically and technically advanced City in the mundane world. Commander Lyco, the Alanomian chief of police in the city of Auran, has created a form of secret police made up of ruffians and foreigners for the purpose of rooting out deep seated corruption in the city. It is his hope that these unknowns will be able to collect evidence the uniformed police cannot and infiltrate the gangs and secret societies that have knowledge that makes it hard to surprise them.
