Darksign

Causes

The Darksign manifests itself at birth. If an unaffected human and a lupine have a child, the offspring will ALWAYS be a lupine.

Treatment

There is no cure for the Darksign. The curse has seeped deep into the blood of the lupine.

Affected Groups

All members of the Lupine race are affected by the Darksign. It was what defines them as a people.

History

The Darksign was bestowed upon the Sumerians (now know as the lupine) as they defeated a powerful demon that sought to establish Sumeria as a base of operations for a full scale invasion of the Prime Plane. All Sumerians were affected.
