Mildred Gisking
Elder sister of Osgar the Great. She ruled Daxholm before her brother at the time of the Great Furse Host which ravaged The Dragon Head’s Nebula, and brought down all the other Fabian-Furse nations but for Daxholm, and replacing them with puppet kings.
Wounded in battle that saw the lost of many nobles and important members of Daxholm, she appointed Osgar her heir over that of her own children in a time of war, and was confirmed by the House of Lord and House of Commons of Daxholm.
Queen Mildred is seen as the Founder of House Grimmhart, named for a loyal son who stayed loyal to Daxholm, and supported his uncle over that of his sibling who rose in rebellion on his death.
House Grimmhart would become a small but loyal and important noble house of the Commonwealth, owning small estates, and serving the Commonwealth as needed, often with military service.
