Chronicai

Chronicai is a world of gods, magic, war, and madness. The varying gods of the that occupy the heavenly realms compete for power and dominance over the mortal realms and the many races that occupy it. Well, most of them, at least.   Humans, dragons, beasts, and those of a more....otherworldly nature, all inhabit this world, and used to regularly go to war. That was until the god of man, Reynauld, expanded his reach and put the varying conflicts to an end. Now, he keeps the other gods in check, ensuring peace through order and various legal processes, with himself having the final say in all matters, of course. To keep order, Reynauld put a limit to how far technology could go, and how far the gods of knowledge could push it, keeping the world in the late middle ages for far longer than it should have been.   Recently however, the great wheels of progress, frozen over by the will of one, have started to turn once again. Reynauld's power wanes, his allies have recently lost power, and his rivals, the draconic gods, among others, grow restless under his thumb, and things both evil and forgotten begin to stir under his nose.   Change is coming. War is coming. And whether or not Chronicai survives this great upheaval remains to be seen.
