Surakija

Surakija s - ur - ack - ee - ja. Literal translation "legged person". Their sirrettava, the legs on their back, are almost black scaley appendages that act like a leg-tail hybrid. While conscious they move on command, while unconscious they act on instinct. The ends are sharp and serrated to help with climbing. They also have skin colored horns that come out of their forehead. The Surakija live in the Allevvind, a majority of the population is clustered in Lolkyla (low-key-la), the capital and the surrounding villages. There are other villages here and there, the closer to the islands you get the less frequent the little villages get.

Their lifespan is relatively short, palijas and yhtijas usually only live to their 40s or 60s. While nobles can live into their 80s.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Their eyes naturally see in infrared, they can still see in the visible light spectrum, just not as well. They all have for leg-like appendages protruding out of their lower backs.
