Chimera Moon

In the near future, the world is shocked by the unveiling of the Chimera race. These shape shifters stepped out of the shadows, demanding they be acknowledged as people rather than scientific experiments. In the resulting clashes with humans, the Chimera's physical strength and abilities put the humans at a disadvantage. Not to mention, the Chimeras had been hidden in every facet of society, which made the humans fear they would lose their spot at the top of the metaphorical food chain.   But as the Chimeras were poised to take power, another hidden race came to light, this time in opposition to both the Chimeras and the Humans. The Arcanists, as they called themselves, were humans who had been altered on a fundamental level thanks to secret alchemical experiments done by their ancestors. They could wield the elements, and their strength was such that they were a fitting opponent for the Chimeras.   The fighting seemed endless; the government and society devolved into chaos. This would later be known as the Reshaping Wars as it fundamentally changed how society functioned as the three races struggled for power. Once it became clear that none of the factions could take ultimate control, an uneasy truce was called as the races set about rebuilding society while continuing to fight for power and dominance in the shadows.   But the three races had intermingled for many years. And the line between hatred and love is sometimes paper thin.   A woman who hears whispers on the wind is on the run from family that would lock her up to hide her from the world.   A man who created an information network to take revenge on his mother's killer and to protect his sister.   A daughter who despises her mother's cult but stays to help the innocent escape.   A man who was once arrogant, but was captured and used as a scientific experiment, now just seeks peace, but he cannot turn away the pleas for help from another victim of a similar experiment.   Enter the world of Chimera Moon to watch as the three groups clash, conspiracies and plots unfold, and love blossoms in the most unlikely places.
