Clan Toreador

The Toreador are quite a degenerate clan; they have long taken that which is best in Chicago and damned all the rest. They are Elysium's strongest proponents - indeed, one of their principal demands of Prince Lodin is that he protect its sanctity. They are generally very active supporters the museums, opera, symphony and theatre.
All of them are forced to be part of Chicago's high society, and must regularly attend balls and other social events sponsored or hosted by Annabelle, the Toreador Primogen Council member.
Before her Sire, Maria, disappeared, Annabelle did not have the authority of being clan leader to back up her authority as a member of the Primogen. Now she has both, and the Toreador must do as she says.
Some suspect Annabelle eliminated Maria herself,  just so she would have the power to force fellow Toreador to her parties, but most realise how absurd this is. All, however, are very keen to find out what did actually happen to Maria, and would pay well for information.
