Chaotic Ages

A campaign across different eras centering on adventurers from the 13 races. Here being good or evil is about maintaining or disrupting the balance between the twin axis of Light/Dark and Chaos/Order.   The Age of Heroes is more in line with a traditional D&D setting being a high fantasy, sword and sorcery theme. Gods and those who would be gods make moves through mortal intermediaries. But there are whispers that all the divine powers are seeking a greater standing.   The Age of the Immortal Four/The War of the Gods/The Fall of the Gods: Divine forces clash openly in the mortal realm as well as across the Cosmic Planes, leaving the mortal races to struggle to survive on their own. The Thirteen, the co-creators of the world and all it's races, make themselves known to protect their creations. In the background four heroes blessed and cursed with various immortal natures take the fight to the gods themselves.   The Modern Age/The Era of Endings: The gods are dead and the Thirteen have returned their place of maintaining the balance in the cosmic background. The mortal races now navigate their place in the world with no one to guide them. Those who would disrupt the balance for their own ends still exist as do those who would keep it so that the innocent would be protected. A new race from beyond this reality appears baring grave tidings, because there is an end to all things.
