Description: With a guttural growl and a flick of your wrist, you ignite a spark of draconic flame in your hand. This blazing ember crackles with potent magic, ready to be unleashed at your command. Choose a point within 60 feet of you that you can see. A miniature sphere of molten rock erupts at that point, dealing 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier fire damage to each creature within 5 feet of the point.

Draconic Fury: The Dragonfire Spark ignites with greater fury based on your draconic connection. Choose one of the following effects when you cast the spell:

Dragon's Breath: The sphere explodes outward in a 10-foot cone, forcing each creature within the cone to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes full damage, or half damage on a successful one.
Scorched Scales: The sphere imbues your next weapon attack within 1 minute with searing heat. On a hit, the attack deals an additional 1d4 fire damage.
Ember's Flight: As an action within 1 minute of casting the spell, you can hurl the Dragonfire Spark as a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes full damage, or half damage on a successful Dexterity saving throw.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage die for the initial explosion increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
