The Tuareg

El Sirrocco (a.k.a. El Sirrocco)

Long ago there was a man whose name struck terror in the hearts of any caravan crossing the Sahara; El Sirrocco. His kel was the most powerful among the Ihaggaren, and his reputation for ruthlessness made him hated even among his own. But one day El Sirocco met his fate at the hands of a beautiful and vengeful sorceress whose mother Sirocco killed. He found himself in chains, sold to the East as a fighting slave. Sirocco accepted his fate, seeing his punishment as Allah’s will for his cruel ways. He took a vow of silence, refusing to speak until Allah deemed otherwise. He fought in the pits of Mogadishu until a fateful day when he met a merchant from Mombasa who saved him from a death sentence then set him free. For his freedom he vowed to serve this man of honor until death or Allah called him home.
