The Gnomes

Gnomes are a short, stout race that are well-known for working with their hands. They speak with a quick, high-pitched voice. As the smallest sentient race in Chaldea, they are generally fearful of the larger races, particularly the elves, whose aptitude with magic has intimidated them. The gnomes turned to technology in hopes of evening the playing field between them and the other races. The gnomes were attacked several times by the demons and elves alike under suspicion of helping the other side. In response to this, the gnomes took to the sky in a floating mountain that they called "insert name here". Their only fear now is the dragons, the only race who can reach them in their floating fortress.
