Basic Information

Anatomy

They have two arms, two legs, a strong tail, frilled crest on their heads, beaked mouths, and a single horn on their noses. Females have glands at the back of their necks that produce a fowl smelling pheromone that only related males can smell. They are capable of using Jir, but they have such a small capacity they rarely use it.

Genetics and Reproduction

Females lay eggs. They are only able to do so three times in their lives.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They are omnivores. However they prefer eating plants and only eat meat if desperate.

Social Structure

They are very social, but females and adult males live in separate villages. Males are only aloud to enter female villages during mating seasons. They tend keep all their eggs together. Because of this, they have a hard time knowing which egg is biologically who's child. So they consider themselves children of a generation rather then individuals and share the responsibility. When male hatchlings are old enough to walk, they are taken to a male village.

Average Technological Level

Minoceras are one of the few creatures of Chakara to have metal work. Usual weapons include swords, spears, axes, clubs, and shields.

Minoceras normally wear vest and loincloths.

Common Taboos

They do not eat eggs, not even ones of other species.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Some Minoceras make a living as mercenaries to other races.

They are very bulky.
