Dakush, God of Plants and Farming

Dakush is the laid-back and high god representing farming and plants.

Description

As the main god of the Cethean Minotaurs and because he came from their ranks, Dakush looks like a large, thin Minotaur with long, dark brown hair - almost Yak-like in appearance. His head-hair is mostly depicted as braided with many flowers woven into it. Dakush only wears light, colourful robes and sandals.

Personality

Dakush is a very laid back god. He doesn't really care about the events happening on Cethea, for he mostly only cares about himself and his own well-being (meaning a steady supply of certain spices). But he is still kind, if someone asks him for a favour, he will (if he feels like it) most certainly help. Except for a favour involving the harming of plants. In which case, a rare state of wrath overcomes him and he will be relentless in the pursuit and destruction of the evildoer.

Divine Realm

Dakush's Divine Realm are the Halls of Harvest, located on the plane Elysium. The halls are plenty, with each of them filled all kinds of plants, flowers, trees and so on. They are arranged in a spiral shape, with Dakush's private rooms at the center. A small stream flows from there through each hall, carrying a very nourishing fluid which, if ingested can relax even the most relentless raging barbarian. But it has a side effect: You'll be "stoned af dude".

Worshippers

Dakush is worshipped almost everywhere on Cethea. Especially by farmers hoping for a good harvest. But also by hunters, druids, minotaurs and the Avariel Elves of Skaro. The Avariel Elves are specialists when it comes to farming in the highest mountains, a trait that was gaven to them by Dakush.

History

Dakush used to be a chill minotaur with a knack for planting the best drugs. Before he ascended he wrote several guides to farming, although all of themhave been lost. Legend (also the true history) says that Dakush stoned himself into a next life as a god. Which is true because he challenged the goddess Zhoja to a stoner duell, which he easily won, thus getting ascended to godhood. During the spellplague Dakush didn't do anything of notice (except drugs of course). He just sat in the Tribunal of Pachaka Hiyaka and did his thing. During this time he also met Pos'Um and Mr. Chrrrr when they gathered Allies for an alliance against Zarenth to end the Prime Material Blood War. in 1359 AA.
