The Only Unicorn

The only unicorn is to be described as a mythical creature that looks like a white horse with a horn on its forehead that contains magical powers. It is told that it may possibly be the first and the last unicorn in Centurion.

Summary

Nobody knows for sure where it came from and what kind of magical powers the horn possesses, since the only unicorn is barely seen. Only a few people saw this mythical creature for a brief moment before it disappeared again with a blink of an eye.
Some speculated that the horn would bestow its magical powers upon anyone who touches it, some even think it can cure any illnesses, mutations and other terminal conditions.

Historical Basis

The only evidence of its existence are the unique hoof tracks that appeared in a shape of a heart followed by glittering dust on the ground. However this kind of dust is always picked up quickly to either sell it for a high amount of money or to to create a rare magical potion by bypassers.

Spread

Since many generations have spread the story of this myth, whole Centurion knows about the only unicorn. Over many centuries it has been seen by a handful of people so it‘s assumed to be immortal.

Variations & Mutation

People from various generations saw the only unicorn in many places of Centurion, only for it to disappear in a flash. But all of them described the creature the same way since the first contact being recorded in a book. That‘s why many are confused about its origin, since there‘s no way knowing where it came from.

The only unicorn is perceived as a magical mythical creature that grants health and magical powers.

There is a book about an old dwarven man seeing the only unicorn, back when the first dwarves discovered the Zanfa Forest.

There are fairy tale stories written with the only unicorn for children. There are even plushies, toys and songs for young and old where the only unicorn is being mentioned.
