Naughtrestian

People from he fortress town called Naughtrest, which is east from Mudenia, call themselves Naughtrestians. As Naughtrestians, they‘re being told to be strong, brave, ruthless to enemies and always prepared for a battle.

Naming Traditions

Feminine names

Galora, Mazoga, Marona, Divada and Varna always end with the letter a at the end and after the feminime name, there‘s Gra which is the title of „female warrior“, otherwise they‘d have Ma „the birther“ or Da „female worker“ as titles.

Masculine names

Marzog, Gardosh, Arcosh, Morgrub, Korgrum and Zobgrul are most common examples for masculine names. For titles, they have Gro „male warrior“, Sho „the guard“ and Do „male worker“.

Family names

Bonk (A common family name), Shub, Mosh, Grahl, Wopp and Drahl for example are short familynames that have a hitting feel to it. People from Naughtrest love and live for the fight, the battles, the brawl and they even started most wars in the Eastern Continent so their family names require to sound intimidating and yet quick to the point.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Naughtrestians couldn‘t care less about beauty, however they find big and strong muscles most ideal and if they‘re tall as well, that‘s a good bonus as well.

Gender Ideals

Both genders respect each other as equals, work and battle wise.

Courtship Ideals

For a Naughtrestian to win over the other‘s heart, they must slay a wild beast and rip out the biggest tooth (or a claw if they don‘t have any teeth and if both are missing, then an eyeball will have to do as well), to make it craft into a necklace as a gift. The bigger and more dangerous the beast, the better.

Relationship Ideals

Both are responsible to treat each other with love and respect. The birther, which is mostly female, would have to stay at home to give birth and then send the children or hatchlings, depending on the race, to the child care camp, where they will be raised and taught to become potential warriors.
