Dwarf

Dwarves are short, have a strong build and look like humans. Their trademark is wearing a long beard, sometimes with beads and braids.
They‘re also famous for their hard work at the mines, their master craftsmanship, their enormous strength compared to their size and their loyalty in battle and fights.

Dwarves are shorter than most races but they compensate their lack of height with their musclemass.

Dwarves don‘t grow much, the tallest they can get is about 1,51m. However they grow hair in various places faster than any other race. At age 80 they‘re adults, then they get gray/white hair at age 177. Their average life expectancy is about 400-444 years.

Ecology and Habitats

Dwarves used to live inside caves and mines, way underground. They still depended on light even back then so they had glowing mushrooms for them to see in the dark.

Dwarves are omnivores, most of them however love to eat their home-baked pastries, such as dwarven bread!

Male and female names tend to have the letter R and/or K at least once. For example: Edrik, Janrik, Veronika, Bianka, Branka, etc.

Beauty Ideals

Most female dwarves admire their opposite gender for their well-treated beards and their muscular figure. Bonus point if the men have chest hair as well. For male dwarves, they like it when the females are strong and can hold their own. Since both male and female dwarves can grow beards however, most females volunteer to shave their faces every day.

The dwarves get along with almost all non-dwarves. Some however may have the tendency to make fun of the elves for their skinny figure and their choice of classes, armor and weapons.
