Drakonian

The Drakonian belongs to the humanoid dragon subspecies but unlike The Dragonian, The Drakonian doesn‘t have wings.

Anatomy

They have the same body built of a human, but they have scales, a long maw, reptile eyes, fangs, a long tail, horns and spines.

Biological Traits

The Drakonians are developed into a one gender race, which means they have both sexes at the same time to reproduce. Drakonians get hatched from eggs like all reptile races, they reach the adulthood when they become 30 years old, that‘s when they get fertile and can have hatchlings. Their fertility fades away by the age of 100, that‘s when they become elderly.

Genetics and Reproduction

They mate with one another and lay eggs, afterwards they wrap the egg(s) with a long cloth to attach them with their torso.

They grow and age like humans, but they live longer (max. 180 years) and grow about 50 cm taller than the average human.

They used to live in jungles and forests with the Dragonians but after many centuries they preferred the civilization.

They‘re omnivores, though they enjoy to eat fish and eggs from farm animals the most.

Biological Cycle

Since the Drakonians enjoy a warm environment, they tend to spend time in their homes more often in Winter. In Summer they‘re one of the few humanoid races who stay outside and tank some sunlight for the longest time.

Drakonians idealize massiveness in muscles, height and in girth. If they can‘t fly like their cousins, the Dragonians, then at least they want to grow very big!
