The Lafliuton Murals

On the north part of Lafliuton, there are many murals that are from an ancient date. There are about a dozen of them that have been found along with at least twenty more partial ones. The partial ones are still bright and shiny, even though they are broken and missing parts. The full murals that have been found are almost in perfect condition. They look as if they had just been finished by the artist. They are sparkling, brightly colored, with some colors looking as if they are swirling and appear to have a protective covering.
Three of the first murals were found in a ruined building. The said building had been repurposed many times over until a war caused a lot of damage and forced the owners to flee and not return. Once shifters returned to the location the roof had been destroyed, walls were crumbling down, and really what was left of the building was the bottom floor and three walls. A team of Explorers and Magoligist was exploring the building when a young apprentice by the name of Subodh Coy was told to clean up one room so that they could sleep in it for the night. As Subodh did he noticed that what they thought was the original floor was in fact not the original floor. So he slowly pulled it up to find a corner of a brightly colored sparkling floor. He quickly went and found one of the heads of the group Dromon Callum and told him what he found. At first, Dromon dismissed him as he was the youngest one there. However, Subodh wouldn’t let it go and so Dromon Callum followed the young apprentice. Once in the room, Subodh showed him what he had found and Dromon was shocked. He quickly called the others to see what had been discovered. The group quickly but carefully pulled the old floor up to find that the mural was on the whole floor. They were shocked and some thought the shape it was in was because it was hidden for so long. While the Magoligist that was with them said that there had to be magic involved. Shortly after this discovery there three more were found two were wall murals on the other floor. There was one even found in the Edgestarlins oldest building. It was never covered. In the Tavell kingdom, they have found some manuscripts talking about hiring artists to create these murals but none on how they did so. There are several theories about how they were made but none have shown to be what the artists did. It is a lost technology.
