Fotho-Asa tales

The Fotho-Asa tales are a collection of several tales that were written centuries ago by two feline shifters Fotho-Asa. It has been said that they were disappointed at how some of the young shifters were treating their parents in their village. They looked at the behaviors that were happening both with the young and old and worked together to create the first set of tales. These tales used animals and children as their base. Some tales are mixed and some tales use the animals to replace shifters such as tales of the wolf and the goats or the lion and the terellas.   One of the more well known of these tales is The Dragon Caller. There was a village that was troubled by many young shifters who were being lazy, and causing trouble. Many of the parents were at wits end to get their young to do anything but cause trouble. Then the blacksmith, who’s son was one of the biggest trouble maker of all, fashioned a whistle. The next day he was out on the outskirts of the town when he saw his son and friends causing trouble for an elder. He told the boys he had enough of their disobedience he used the whistle, calling a dragon. The dragon hovered over the boys taking the situation in, once that was done the dragon growled and grabbed two of the boys and flew off. The others boys were terrified. The blacksmith as he helped the elder said. He would call the dragon again if there was anymore trouble. So parents would tell the tale of the dragon caller to scare their children into not causing trouble or fear of the dragon coming to get them.

At first these tales made their rounds in only the shifter areas then slowly there began to show up a few elven and shifter stories. Many think that all these collection of tales were written by Fotho-Asa as they took to traveling after their first book went to other villages and shifter tribes. However there are a few in both the shifter communities and elven communities that others wrote the later tales and just added them to the Fotho-Asa tales. These tales are known though mostly on Lafliuton and Owhua. While on Nucrana and Efren only few know, mostly scholars and magiolgist.
