The Edge of the World
Demographics
The settlement is comprised of people who were driven out of their homes during the takeover of the Holy Empire. Their population is mainly comprised of "othered" species. Species that are often considered outcast from more "civilized societies". The main population are people spanning all ages from the Tiefling, Orc, goblin, and Kenku species.
Government
The population here has settled into several "families" each running a string of caravan of their own. These Caravans typically have a group of elders who dictate the everyday going ons of their group. When Caravans interact and have meetings it will be a large gathering of the elders from both caravans. They will often get into as many fights with each other as they do with their own elders.
Industry & Trade
They mainly trade among themselves but they have limited trade with the new kingdoms that have settled in their area.
Infrastructure
This settlement exists along the board of the "conquered" world and the "unconquered" world. The buildings are a collection of caravans on wheels and the entire settlement will have mobile periods where they move up and down the border.
Districts
There exists five different "main families." Five different groupings of caravans that are mobile along the boarder. These families usually mainly have a majority species but they are all mixed up a little.
They move location to location depending on the needs of the caravan for that time of year. There is one district where they collect the different things they need to survive. One area is plentiful in game and plants that they use for food and medicine. One area is where they clean things? The final area is harder to get to and its where they collect magical components "beyond the edge of the world."
Tourism
They get almost no foot traffic but every once in a while, a caravan can be paid to be convinced to lead people through the "end of the world."

Totally dig on the image of a caravan of buildings roaming the border at the edge of the civilized world. I also love how it's filled with the outcast people, literally "marginalized" by the Holy Empire. It has a whole lot of story potential!
