Gurost

The Immovable

Gurost is the God of Strength, Might and Power. Often depicted as bracing the mantle of the heavens above his shoulders, or as a savage warrior, clad in furs. Religious iconography classically shows Gurost standing between innocents and a nameless danger, bloodied from a thousand cuts. He is most commonly venerated by mercenaries and soldiers on campaign, as well as many avoiding the trappings of civilisation. It is said when the earth shakes underfoot, it is caused by Gurost readjusting his footing as he holds the sky above.

The Order of Gurost in Arendia claim to guard a dagger within their reliquary. It is rumoured that the dagger is eternally razor sharp, and that blood spilt by it will never dry.
