Elthelred

Ethelred is the God of the Prepared. He is prayed to at the eve of every expedition or journey. It is to him thanks are praised when preparation saves the day. He is most commonly worshiped by sailors, soldiers and merchants. His priests carry large packs, crammed full of rope, bedding, tinderboxes and other assorted items that might be needed. Castille is a very popular game amongst his priests, as it revolves around insight and preparation. The game has since grown popular in port cities across the world, and a game can often be found being played in a quiet corner of a rowdy harbourside tavern. Similarly, a aged spirit is often used in Rites of Praise to Ethelred, as it represents the culmination of years of careful preparation.
