Aurora Destructivus

Colloquially referred to as The Flash, the Aurora Destructivus turned eyes in Capacia to a central point, the city of Whitethorn Bay.

On a quiet morning, a brilliant purple aura flashed from Whitethorn and a wave of terrible heat rolled through the hinterlands and crashed through the land. Crackling like lightning, that energy ignited crops and property without distinction. Fortunately, no living creature was harmed beyond the breaking of a mighty uncomfortable sweat. But in every quarter of both cities, the flames raged for days before they could be extinguished. The Three Hearths were decimated by the destruction, but the wave was felt in the Surestine Freeholds and all throughout Khandramar Island.   The town of Whitethorn Bay, sister to the towns of Naporia and Yokrâft , once a promising spark in the Three Hearths is gone. That fateful morning did more than level building and home, when citizens of Neporia and Yokraft were able to make expeditions to their neighbor towns they were sad to find their cousins of Whitethorn not accounted for. Journeys to the great harbor saw a sight to bewilder the most learned of mind. Where Whitethorn Bay once stood all that remained was a crater. A perfect cut of earth following the outline where the walls once stood. Everything inside the walls was gone. The outskirts of town remained much as they were before, now inhabited by the small collective that had been lucky, or unlucky, enough to be outside the walls at the time of the Flash. No debris lay in the crater, only a small totem that none dare approach.
