Mental characteristics

Personal history

Sol spent his early life in the hamlet of Shepherd's Rest where his parents owned a small farm. A quick study from a very young age, his parent scraped enough coin together to enroll him in a second rate boarding school in Khardad when he was 12 years old.

He excelled in his schooling, though he was suspended on multiple occasions for running illicit gaming amongst his schoolmates. He was recruited by The Institute when he was 16. He completed his studies and was immediately offered a position as a Requisitor in The Reclamation Wing. He became the youngest Requisitor Senior Grade at age 22.

Two years after being promoted to Requisitor SG, an internal investigation revealed Sol had been altering records, stealing artifacts, and selling them on the black market for almost 5 years. He was disbarred from The Institute and stripped of his degrees.

For the last 32 years, Sol has been an independent scholar and treasure hunter. He is well known for his deep knowledge of Capacia's history and his ability to recover ancient artifacts from even the most dangerous locales. His network of buyers stretches across the region and he rarely has trouble selling his magical artifacts even in the most tightly controlled cities.

  • Elyse's abilities are key to finding Whitethorn. I must understand them.

  • Sander's connections would be valuable to me. I will exploit them.
