Opodus The Architect

The god of creativity and invention, Opodus oversees forging, artifice, and the arts. Since he is associated with flames, Opodus is also a god of anger and passion. Along with his sister Kenzho, he is the youngest of the gods, and was only discovered by the people of Canim within the last thousand years. He is at odds with many of the other gods, which is reflected in his worshippers, who often come into conflict with the more dogmatic worshippers of other gods. Worshippers of Briona see Opodus' creative flames as dangerous to the balance of nature, worshippers of Folgoran and Kenzho see Opodus as rash and overly hasty to make change, and worshippers of Tenigar see Opodus as desperate and afraid of sitting still. Notably, Opodus is also associated with harnessing energy, especially electrical energy and steam power. Opodus is the favoured god of the Small Folk and most of those who utilize technology over magic in their daily lives. Because of his mastery over metallurgy and the forge, Opodus is occasionally used as a war god, and is said to bless weapons to never falter in battle.   Holy Symbol: Torch, Hammer Divine Domains: Forge, Tempest, War Sacred Oaths: Conquest Otherworldly Patrons: Hexblade
