Mount Greatheart

The home of the Small Folk, and the most technologically advanced and industrious city in all of Canim. Mount Greatheart is a compound community that exists both above the ground and within the caverns of the mountains that share its name. The primary god of Mount Greatheart is Opodus, who the industrious people of Mount Greatheart hold as the father of invention, a masterful creator who they aspire to emulate in their tireless work, though there is no strict policy on which gods to worship. This city and the surrounding communities are Canim's largest source of iron, copper, silver, gold, and other precious mined materials including gemstones. Mount Greatheart is also the city in which Automatons are the most common and accepted. Mount Greatheart is governed by a council of three elders- one Dwarf, one Gnome, and one Halfling. The Explorers' Lodge operates an office out of Mount Greatheart, though it is small and is only considered a pit stop on the way to greater adventures.
