Humans

Humankind is only the second most common, but the most widespread race of Canim. Their persistence, ambition, and undefeatable spirit has allowed humans to thrive in places where even the most hardy of other people have failed. You'd be hard-pressed not to find humans in any settlement in Canim. Even the most insular and tribal societies will usually deal with humans before dealing with other races. Human explorers were the first to develop an industry around ruin delving and treasure hunting. As such, humans have access to some of the best technology on Canim. They are, however, among the most stunted races magically, and very few humans have natural magical gifts.
