Canela

Canela is a world inhabited by both people and dragons. It is a world of technology and magic. However, like most worlds, there is always conflict brewing. The dragons and humans might get along, but the humans rarely get along with each other.   The Norte Union, located in the northern continent, has been making more and more aggressive maneuvers against the countries located in Sur, the southern continent. War is sure to happen.   Magic is treated differently on both continents. In Norte, it is something required to learn at one's youth, while in Sur it is used for utility purposes and is more of an elective than anything else. Meanwhile, the countries in Sur have fully embraced technology while Norte is a few years behind them in that regard.   There are several dragon clans in Norte, mostly living where people can't. But it is not unusual to see a dragon visiting a town in either dragon or human form. There are also what is known as Elemental Dragons, dragons that are the embodiment of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. They are held in high esteem by all clans, though their influence seems to be waning.
