Quantum Drive

Allows a ship to move 8,800x the speed of light but every 6 days must come out of the quantum field into real space. After a day of recharging the drive it can enter into the quantum field again. A ship can stay in the quantum field for longer then 6 days but every 6 hours must roll to see if the protective bubble created by the drive fails. (A natural 1 on any dice means death {1st day d20 {2nd day d10 {3rd day d8 {4th day d6 {5th day d4 {6th day and onwards d2) if the bubble fails the ship and crew are immediately annihilated. A devastating form of sabotage is to cause the quantum drive to fail while in transit many ways to do this. Some physical ways are (generally also kills the saboteur) damaging or manipulating the drive, digitally a person can use the QXXX23 virus that will cause the protective bubble to immediately fail once the ship enters the field but this virus can be protected against with 1 in 3 not being protected. Luckily or unluckily depending on what side you are on there are many other viruses that do more or less the same thing some less protected against.
