Canador is a land surrounded on all sides by natural barriers. To the west lies the forest of plenty, an impenetrable wood guarded closely by the reclusive elves of the Greenhaven; to the north are the Weeping Peaks, dangerous mountain tops full of horrible weather and unknown dangers, and to the south and east lies an ocean that none dare cross, lest they be taken by a mysterious fog. Canador was founded by the brothers Canadorious, six of them in total. They came from lands unknown seeking a new world, and used their legendary vessel, the World Render, to find and found the land of Canador, and the capital city of the same name. Appreciating the work the brothers were doing of building new worlds, the god of civilization, Erathis, granted them legendary abilities, dubbing them the WorldShapers. Through some strife and infighting among the brothers, the empire of Canador was raised, a hardy people taming an unfair and dangerous land. The brothers were called on by Erathis to lay down their power now that they had used it to shape the world, and die in peace. And so it came about the beginnings of the land of Canador, a land of magic *and* science, happy with its way in the world and unconcerned about outside matters.
