Personal history

Glyn was a lover of music, even from an early age. While in the Feywild, Glyn was a father of three, two sons and a daughter; Douh, Fah, and Rae. Glyn worked as a hunter forager for the small commune of Satyrs that he was part of; The Golden Pasture. The Golden Pasture was a community of Satyrs and Centaurs. It was not a huge community but it was a community nonetheless. Glyn was a man of music at heart, doing his day job of hunting\gathering for the community, and by night he was a well-known musician for the many different drunken adventurers. These adventurers were so abundant due to the thin curtain between the realms near The Golden Pasture. One day, a strange occurrence happened. Glyn was doing his normal routine when he heard a strange noise coming from the other side of the tree he was sitting near. Glyn got up, as any curious satyr would, to investigate. On the other side of the tree, there seemed to be a large door into what he would soon find out was called the material plane. He tried to slowly back away but he found himself frozen in place. While in his stunned state, Glyn noticed that the door was getting bigger and bigger. Unable to move Glyn watched as this door became big enough to engulf him, spewing him out of the Feywild. Once on the other side, the first thing he met was a blacksmith’s hammer in his face. He awoke days later in a prison cell, a small man was questioning him in a language he didn’t know. When Glyn asked where he was in Sylvan, the small man gave him a dirty look. Regardless, soon the small man left, only to come back with another man who started speaking Sylvan.   “Hello, I am Fargoth, wherein the hell did you come from?” the thick glassed scholar said staring at the Glyn as he sat up in the cell.   "Hello Fargoth, my name is Glyn and honestly I don't really know where I came from," Glyn paused, "Well, I mean I don't know how I got here, I am from the Feywild."   Fargoth looked at Glyn intriguingly and looked to the guard, muttered something in Dwarvish and the guard spoke up in Common, "So you're not here to cause us any trouble?"   Glyn quickly replied, now in Common, "Oh thank god you know common, that is correct, I'm not here to hurt you or cause trouble."   Shortly after this encounter, Glyn was released from his prison cell and had his equipment returned to him. Over the next couple of days, Glyn was told the stories of the night he was forced into the Material Plane. Glyn swiftly grew attached to Fargoth. Fargoth is a stout dwarf scholar that has thick glasses and knows anything and everything about ancient dwarven culture, weapons, and architecture. Glyn went to the spot of his ingress, and sure enough, a small rift in the planar vail between his realm and the material plane had opened. Glyn rushed to his newly found friend and mentor Fargoth to report what he saw. Fargoth and Glyn headed towards the rift to investigate but when they arrived instead of a rift they were met with a single pixie. This pixie saw the two approaching and darted off to cause mayhem. Fargoth stood there confused noticing that the rift was not there. Glyn and Fargoth headed back to Fargoth's humble home. Whence they arrived, the two talked about the occurrence that happened many days prior and the most recent one. They couldn't quite put a finger on what was going on, so they decided to work together to learn about each other's realms to try to better understand what was going on. Day turned into weeks, then weeks into months, and before Glyn knew it, he was in Hondun, the underground dwarven city that lays in the Hoarfrost Mountains, for a year (even though time is a concept he doesn't quite understand yet). Eventually, Glyn sought out adventure with a group of traveling bards to try to figure out what exactly was going on with the planes of existence. Fargoth and Glyn said their goodbyes and parted ways.   Glyn traveled with this group of 6 bards, there were two Humans, a Lightfoot Halfling, a green Dragonborn with hints of silver scales on him as well, a fallen Aasimar, and their "slave" Tiefling. Their names were Remi, Kaia, Garrett, Patrin, Revol, and Julia. The two humans were identical twins, both female, long blonde hair, tall, the only difference between them was Remi had a mole near the temple of her head. Garrett Goodbarrel, a well-renowned halfling bard, no taller than four feet, long messy ginger hair, and a full beard, had suntanned skin. Garrett was not famous for his performances, he became famous for his heroic acts of saving several halfling villages from pillagers. Next, you have Patrin Delmirev, a bulky green and silver Dragonborn that is harmless unless provoked. Revol the Fallen, he fell out of grace from the Sovereign Host, due to his questioning of the practices he encountered. Revol stood at 5'10" and looked almost like a vampire. Then you have the "slave" of the group, whose name is Julia Treble. She isn't actually a slave, just on paper, she is enslaved to the group to make sure she isn't auctioned off to horrible people. Julia is not very tall only standing at 5'3, but she is built like a freight train. Glyn wondered for many months with this group of people trying to figure what to do in the Material Plane. He eventually left to pursue his personal mission more because the band of bards, cleverly named the Dragon's Soul Strings, drank so heavily that all Glyn got done was drinking and performances.   Glyn pursued for another three months to figure out how to get back to his commune and his kids. He desperately looked into information for what is causing the rifts that he has come across. No luck, so he went back to what he knew best, drinking and playing for weary travelers. He headed back to Hondun, where he was greeted with open arms by Fargoth. Shortly after his return, Glyn got a full-time job as a bard at the local tavern, The Smashed Tankard. He still doesn't know why he's stuck on this plane and/or how to get home. There is some magical effect that he can't understand that is stopping him from going home. So he has kinda settled in for a short to long-term existence in the Material Plane.   Last Memory: A successful day at The Smashed Tankard. Many of the regulars showed up, but there were a couple of new faces. The one that stood out the most was a face that he couldn't make out. It was a slender-looking man that stood in the shadows of the tavern. He was only visible for mere seconds before he disappears.
