Stoneskin

A passive mutation specific to Nova Vichi. Stoneskin manifests as what its name implies—remarkably toughened skin to the point of it being difficult to damage. Stoneskin does not make Nova invincible—her skin is still able to be scratched, pierced, and otherwise damaged, it just makes it more difficult to be able to do so. Stoneskin is always present in Nova's body, though she is able to control it to a small degree. In combat, she can force it to harden to a stronger point, creating more defense at the cost of slowly draining her strength. She can also focus it to one point on her body, creating an almost bulletproof spot with great willpower.
